Proyecto comunitario para mejorar el acceso a agua segura mediante captación de lluvia, almacenamiento, saneamiento y filtración para consumo humano. A community project that improves access to safe water through rainwater harvesting, storage, sanitation and purification for human consumption.

Mejorar el acceso al agua para uso doméstico mediante gestión comunitaria segura, eficiencia en productos de aguacate, captación de lluvia, almacenamiento y saneamiento de las comunidades de Huitzilac, Tetela del Volcán, Ocuituco y Hueyapan.Improve access to water for household use through safe community management, efficiency for avocado producers, rainwater harvesting, storage and sanitation in the communities of Huitzilac, Tetela del Volcán, Ocuituco and Hueyapan.
Los SCALL purifican el agua de lluvia, garantizando que sea química, física y microbiológicamente segura para el consumo humano.SCALL systems purify rainwater, helping ensure it is chemically, physically and microbiologically safe for human consumption.

Captación de la lluvia en el techo del hogar.Rainwater is collected from the roof of the home.
Se inicia con el filtro de hojas para retener hojas y sólidos grandes.The leaf filter retains leaves and large solids.
Pasa al separador de primeras lluvias, captando los primeros minutos de mayor suciedad.Water passes through the first-flush diverter, capturing the dirtiest first minutes of rainfall.
Cuando se llena el separador, el agua se redirige al almacenamiento principal.When the diverter is full, water is redirected to the main storage tank.
El agua pasa por el primer filtro de solutos.Water passes through the first solute filter.
Se purifica en el tren de filtrado de 4 etapas, garantizando agua segura para el consumo.Water is purified through a four-stage filtration train, helping ensure safe drinking water.
Se almacena el agua ya purificada y lista para el consumo humano.Purified water is stored and ready for human consumption.

🧹 Limpieza general del sistema.General system cleaning.
🚰 Evaluar el flujo del agua.Check the water flow.
💧 Revisión de posibles fugas o goteras.Check for possible leaks.
🔎 Realizar una inspección visual de los filtros cada 6 meses.Perform a visual inspection of filters every 6 months.
💡 Reemplazo de la lámpara UV según indique el fabricante.Replace the UV lamp according to manufacturer instructions.
🧤 Limpiar la funda de cuarzo con un paño suave y solución de vinagre; utilizar guantes.Clean the quartz sleeve with a soft cloth and vinegar solution; use gloves.
Cartuchos
Cambio de cartuchos en el equipo de purificaciónReplacing purification equipment cartridges

Cerrar la llave de suministro de agua y retirar la parte inferior de los portacartuchos.Close the water supply valve and remove the lower part of the cartridge holders.

Desechar el cartucho anterior y limpiar el portacartucho con agua y jabón suave.Discard the used cartridge and clean the holder with water and mild soap.

Retirar las etiquetas del filtro conservando el sentido e insertar.Remove the filter labels, keep the correct direction and insert it.

Colocar el empaque y volver a instalar en el tren de filtrado en este orden: papel plisado, carbón granular y carbón activado.Place the gasket and reinstall in the filtration train in this order: pleated paper, granular carbon and activated carbon.

Verificar que no haya fugas de agua.Verify that there are no water leaks.
